In this episode we look at kaitiakitanga (guardianship and protection) through the perspective of places that are important to our whānau. We visit Te Whare Rūnanga on the Waitangi Treaty Grounds and use Book Creator to create a digital book about a place that is special to our family. We also create a fold-out paper book to draw our special places and special people. This episode is designed for students working at levels 1-3 of the NZ curriculum.
