In this episode we look at kaitiakitanga (guardianship and protection) through the perspective of places that are important to our whānau. We visit Te Whare Rūnanga on the Waitangi Treaty Grounds and use Pixlr to create an image of a place that is special to our family. Finally, we explore how we can draw our family tree and think of ways that we can show kaitiakitanga to our whānau. This episode is designed for students working at levels 3-5 of the NZ curriculum
